Storage and usage

See how much of your file storage you are using and which files take the most room, so you can keep your resources and documents tidy without guesswork.

Updated July 18, 2026

The files you keep in InstructorHUB, the resources you share with your team and the documents you hold against staff records, take up storage, and your settings show you how much you are using at a glance. There is no mystery to it, you can see where you stand and what is taking the room.

What your usage shows

The storage view tells you how much of your space is in use, so you always know whether you have plenty of headroom or are getting close to full. It is the honest picture, drawn from the files actually stored, not an estimate, so you can plan around it.

Finding what takes the most room

Alongside the total, InstructorHUB shows your largest files, broken down by kind. This is the practical part, if you are running short on space, the quickest win is almost always a handful of big files rather than the many small ones, and seeing them listed tells you exactly where to look. A large video that is no longer needed, for example, frees more room than clearing out dozens of small documents.

Keeping it tidy

Storage rewards the occasional tidy-up. Removing resources you no longer share and documents past their usefulness keeps your space clear and your library easy to navigate, which helps your team as much as your quota. Because you can see both the total and the biggest offenders, a clear-out is a targeted job rather than a hunt. For managing the files themselves, see Share files with your team and Document requirements.
