Recreational and squad coaches at different rates
A coach who runs Preschool Tumbling on Monday and Level 6 squad on Thursday is paid at a different rate for each. The pay run shows one line per level, with hours and a subtotal, so each rate is entered once.
Spotters and assistant coaches
A beam class with a lead coach and a spotter puts both on the class. Each has their own rate and their own line, and neither person's hours depend on the other being at work.
Open gym and birthday party supervision
Sessions outside the weekly class grid are added as one-off sessions or staff time with their own work type, so supervision pay sits beside coaching rather than in a side spreadsheet.
Meet days across several rooms
Classes are tagged to rooms such as the floor, vault and beam areas. When a coach is away at a meet, you cover or cancel that coach's classes room by room, and the hours follow whoever ran each one.
